Varsity Head Coach Janie Litchford will mark her 36th year at Frisco High School and 47 years total in the teaching/coaching profession. She is a graduate of Frisco High School and holds what Frisco High School stands for very close to her heart. She is a graduate of East Texas State University (now known as Texas A&M Commerce and has a Master’s degree in secondary education from Stephen F. Austin State University.  Coach Litchford has served on various committees and served on the Board of Texas Girls’ Coaches Association over the years and feels it is very important for coaches to give of their time to this association to keep things great for the female athletes of Texas.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with friends, traveling to Colorado to see her two children and her grandson. She has three little furry kids that love it when she gets home from work and games.  Lastly, she has and will always view teaching as a calling to help high school students grow into successful adults
