Varsity Assistant Head Coach Frank DePaolo is entering his 9th year at Frisco High School, his 35th year teaching, and his 31st year coaching.  Coach DePaolo was previously at Frisco High School (2006-2014), then left to start a head coaching career at Celina High School. Coach DePaolo left for Melissa High School in 2016 and led their volleyball team to its first State Championship appearance in 2018.

Coach DePaolo served on several committees for the Texas Girls Coaches Association, including the Junior Varsity Committee and the Board representing the North Texas region. Coach DePaolo retired from coaching after the birth of his grandson to spend as much time as possible with him. Coach Litchford talked Coach DePaolo out of retirement to come back to FHS and help with the varsity team.

Coach DePaolo is a proud Class of '90 Texas A&M Aggie where he received a BS in Secondary Education and Mathematics. Coach DePaolo is part of a whole family of Aggies. He met his wife, Dottie, at A&M in 1986. She is part of the Class of '89. They have been married for 36 years. He also has two Aggie sons. The oldest son, Frank, graduated from Wakeland HS in 2010 and Texas A&M in 2014. His youngest son, Aaron, graduated from Wakeland HS in 2014 and from Texas A&M in 2018.

In his spare time, Coach DePaolo enjoys being the Director of AV at First Frisco GMC. He also spends summers Jeeping in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Arkansas. He also enjoys golf, smoking beef and chicken on the weekends, and spending as much time with his wife, sons, daughter-in-law and grandson as he can.

We are excited to have Coach DePaolo back at Frisco High School, and we know the future is bright with him in our Volleyball Program!
